Review on AuldHome Towel Rustic Farmhouse Hangers by Trevor Garrett

Edited: I changed my rating from 4 stars to 1. After less than 2 weeks of normal use in the bathroom, both towel hooks rust. If you are looking for decoration they would be great. If you're looking for a genuine, functional towel hook, look elsewhere. I thought about spray painting them but for the price I wouldn't have to. I'll be back. They look cute, durable and heavy. They came with screws and anchors. I personally prefer threaded anchors to the ones that come with them. So I used my screws to install the anchors where there weren't any studs. The supplied screws are silver by default. If I were really picky I would prefer the screw heads to have a white finish because they will be visible after installation. But it's easy enough to color them, so it's not a big deal. My main issue is the white paint/coating that was used. The HIS hook had the paint peeling off with white powder on hands during installation. I rubbed it down with a clean rag and it doesn't seem to have completely wiped off the hook. However, the paint on the HERS hook was almost completely worn away – almost like chalk. They are used daily as I wanted to use them as towel hooks in the bathroom. I doubt the paint will last and eventually they will need repainting. Overall they look lovely, just wish they were painted a suitable, more durable color.
