I'll admit I'm a bit obsessed with tools to help me with quilting. I like things that make my job easier and help me be creative without stress. I started work on an Edith sitar quilt called Stars on Stars and spent the weekend patiently making Lemoine stars with their awful Y-stitches. It wasn't bad doing it the traditional way, but I found it took too long to be accurate and get the look I was going for. I thought there was a better way and Deb Tucker came back to save the day. I watched the demo on YouTube and thought yes! I need it. The instructions are perfect so make sure you follow them. Don't think you can figure it out without reading it, the instructions make it easy. I made two sample blocks last night after receiving them and both came out perfect. And I mean perfect points, perfect seam allowances, perfect seam alignment, and perfect sizing with no tricks. I made the 3" blocks shown in the photo with ease and was even able to adjust the stripes in the background, which I really like. This tool is the real deal. Do not be shy. It will improve your work and save you time and nerves. . Act!
