175mm instead of 170mm cranks and plastic spacers

Received today and installed on my XL GT Aggressor Pro. Can't comment on track performance yet, but installation was easy and smooth. I've watched several YouTube videos on the installation and reviews of this product. There seem to be versions with aluminum spacers that people order from eBay. Are there other sellers selling the same set for $10 more than I paid for this one and I'm not sure if they come with aluminum spacers? They were plastic. The tube is also plastic which I didn't know and when I went back and rewatched some of those videos they looked like plastic too but the rings were aluminum. I was worried because the description says they are 170mm cranks, but someone posted a video with lots of scientific study saying you don't see much of a difference between 170mm and 175mm -Cranks will notice. So I ordered these expecting them to be shorter 170mm cranks. However as you can see in the picture they are the same length as the factory cranks which are stamped 175mm and I measured them with a tape measure. I connected this to a 32T oval chain from a JG bike. During a test ride around the area, I felt a big difference in my power and ease when going uphill. Over time I will upgrade the cassette from 8x to 10x. As other reviewers have noted, this update significantly reduces weight and simplifies the cabin by eliminating the front chainring derailleur.
