Why doesn't eyeliner get thicker? I do not know. They are very handy for quick color or clarity selection. I had this pencil/crayon in two colors and chose the gold one. They last longer than regular powder or cream eyeshadows. Bronze and gold colors are also great for filling the entire lid, but I find they crinkle later in the day. But it was 100 degrees and stuffy here, so you have to take that into account. I use a dark gray color for a bold, thick eyeliner. The price is nice so you can try a few colors but I'm disappointed with the color scheme. Why so many purples and fewer greens, grays and neutrals? The main complaint that others have noted is the packaging. The cap won't even stay in a drawer, so forget about your makeup bag. I've also experienced (with Bronze) the product sort of shrinking or shrinking so that it falls completely out of the plastic. Very strange. I put it back in place, but it won't stay there on its own. Overall I recommend this based on durability and price! You might as well play with those eyes ladies, that's all we have to work with these days!
