Review on Renewed Apple 13in MacBook Pro with Retina Display and Touch Bar – 3.1GHz Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, Space Gray by Micha Sawecki ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

I do not advise taking 128gb. 8gb of RAM is still enough - everything flies, everything is ok. Getting used to macOS is hard, but inevitable. When I periodically had to use a Windows device for a short time, pleasant memories of this operating system appeared, despite all the horrors experienced with it. I wanted to shed a tear. You get used to it all and you like everything, but still remain in moments in which it is easier with Windows. They can be forgiven against the background of all the shortcomings of Windows. I bought it to write code on it, for which it is great. Still, with software in this area, it seemed to me, it is better on Windows. The same Open Server, for example, which I really miss here. The interaction with the iPhone is striking: for example, you can receive calls from a laptop. The phone is on charge, and you are in another room with a laptop and it’s generally convenient. AirDrop is also very convenient. TouchBar is almost useless for me. But it's cool)) You can skip ads on YouTube))) In telegram, you can send stickers through it)) Personally, it’s like this for me: if I suddenly notice that there have been some functions there all this time for the program in which I work, then I don’t really want to figure out what they do (icons are not always enough). This is especially true in Final Cut, where I'm afraid to press something wrong. All the same actions are easier to do in the usual way. If you force yourself to get used to the TouchBar, then you probably will use it. It's cool to change the brightness, volume or scroll through the video (does not work in Chrome). The device is cool. I advise everyone.

Pros
  • Screen. Not at all small; Perfect build. Unreal pleasure from touching him; A keyboard that is a pleasure to type on; The trackpad is really the best way to interact with this device; Fantastic autonomy. Excellent mobility. Sometimes it's like a tablet. You can do anything, anywhere and in any position.
Cons
  • When opening a laptop, you constantly touch the glass frame around the screen and leave your fingerprint data there; Very soft metal I haven’t scratched it yet, but after a light knock with the metal nozzle of the microphone on there was a dent left on the edge, spoiling the tactile sensations :( After the first activation, my charge level was not ated (it was always 100%), until I fixed it by dancing with a tambourine (an isolated case, I'm sure); The screen could be a little brighter.
