I love the leather good for mouse pads

I used to buy one of those big gaming mouse pads and while they worked I didn't really like the stitching around the edges and the neoprene surface didn't match the palm rest well either. So when I was looking for an alternative, I came across leather table cushions. I still wanted a big rug (to hide any scuffs on my desk) but most of the ones I saw had stitching around the edges which I didn't like and didn't need for a flat leather cloth. I also wanted full grain leather because it's considered the most durable. Luckily I saw this leather table pad from Polare, which matched everything I was looking for (large size, natural grain, no seams on the edges). I bought a leather bag from them a few years ago and I am very happy with both the quality of the leather and the product itself. He arrived a few days ago. and I've been using it ever since. That's great! It's still the premium full-grain leather I knew from Polar. It appears to be around 5-6 ounces of leather (2mm thick) which is quite thick (wallets use 1-2 ounces of leather so it's easily 3 times thicker. It shows scuffs easily which I like on leather. They disappear easily if you just rub it is a little bit to redistribute the oil and mix it back in. other than that there is not much else to say about it this is a quality leather desk pad i use as a mouse pad it works as advertised one thing What strikes me is that the edges aren't polished which I prefer it's not that hard as you can easily rub it over the edge yourself with some water and something solid it would be nice if the edges were finished but I understand that this is personal preference and not everyone needs a polished edge.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad but...
