While Samsung claims a revolutionary 12ms response time, the overall gaming experience was no better than the 2-year-old 15-inch TN+ film Samsung Syncmaster 151S. I also don't use a PVA based dummy pattern, this review is based on the retail version. bought in Taiwan. What's most concerning about this display is that: 1. the whites are LOTS of blue (probably 10,000K) and 2. the internal gamma circuitry is set too high. You can only solve problem 1 in analog mode because color temperature control is completely disabled in DVI, and problem 2 can only be solved if your graphics card drivers support gamma correction. On my system I had to lower the gamma to around 0.65 to get a similar one Get the picture like the old 151S. If your graphics card drivers do not support gamma correction, you will not get this display because everything will be irreversibly blurry This display, because y is our display, will be permanently blue. It's also a great display. bright, vibrant, decent blacks and very minimal ghosting in my opinion.
