Review on Effortlessly Tenderize Your Meat With The Deluxe 48 Blade Stainless Steel Meat Tenderizer Tool – Featuring A Comfortable Handle And Detachable Bottom For Easy Cleaning by Andrew West

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Does a really good job of tenderizing, has one small flaw.

This would have easily been a 5 of 5 if not for one small flaw that is really more of an annoyance. I waited until after about 6 months of use to make sure the unit still worked as it did the first day.The blades have springs in them so they come out when you apply pressure / pound on the meat. They are very sharp and pernitrates deeply into the meat. When I am done with a roast beast or leg of lamb it has the texture of hamburger. The downside is there are two metal clips that slide into place to hold the plastic safety cap over the blades. Since these clips slide over to hold it in place they eventually open up after about 10 pokes of the meat. If this was a clip that snapped into place you would not have this problem. The end result is the plastic safety over the blades will fall off in mid poke and you end up poking little chunks out of the plastic safety that fell off. See pictures.

Pros
  • Every thing
Cons
  • The tenderizer may not be effective on meats that have already been cooked
