I like that it is not made with aluminum, no discoloration or leaving a greyish black film on your hands. Easy to handle, and clean.This is the second one I bought, my family used the first one as a hammer, which caused divots in the head. This was not good for food safety.

My husband loves this item. He would use a fork to tenderize meat. But this is so much easier to use and it works great. Meat is very tender after using this and so much easier than using a fork. Cleanup is a breeze!

This would have easily been a 5 of 5 if not for one small flaw that is really more of an annoyance. Works great. Easy to use. The only thing I would improve is to add some sort of pedestal. When trying to tenderize thin sliced meat, the blades don't go in far enough without folding the meat several times.

This really does make your meats more tender. And if you marinate them the small incisions allow flavor in. I use it on all my chicken breasts and steaks and pork chops. Ordered a second one for our cabin

Overall very good tenderizer. Guide is removable for cleaning. This type of tenderizer is superior to chemical tenderizers, especially when a household member is allergic to papaya. Your mileage may differ but I would buy again if lost or broken.

I liked the length of the handle, adequate head size, and super easy cleaning. The indentations are not very deep but it's a nice mallet for what I paid.

As for a meat mallet, it's just what you would want. Sturdy, a bit heavy and effective. Works on other stuff, too. I use it to separate frozen items, like green peppers, when they stick together. It separates them nicely.

I have only used this on Chicken breast's so far but it made them very tender and delicious. I can't wait to use it on a nice juicy steak. It's very easy to use and simple to clean. I love it

I first used it on some select grade of New York steaks we had bought on sale. Used the tenderizer tool, made my normal tough meat marinade,and grilled the next day. Wow! This steak had flavor infused into it,instead of surface flavor,and it was very tender as well. A good purchase for those who can't afford prime cuts of beef in today's economy.

I use it to pound chicken breasts before soaking them in brine. It does to good job flattening the chicken. Thanks for attention.

Seemed to work really well. Tried it a few ways and think putting your marinade on first works better than putting it on after.
