Well made product but not Mitutoyo. They only left their mark. As other reviewers have pointed out, it does not properly match the 500-196-30 caliper body. It almost fits, but doesn't quite match the dimensions given by Mitutoyo. The thumbscrew is tapered at the bottom and I suspect it will damage the edge of the caliper. I added a nylon washer to fix this, but this hack shouldn't be necessary for the overpriced $50 part.
