I Run SeaGel in a small bioreactor with the product sealed to keep it from leaking and the balls from shifting. My phosphates are always zero with one serving of Phosguard, and with one serving of Matrix Carbon, my modified water is as blue as a fresh substitute, never yellow or smelly. Some may prefer to buy Phosguard and Matrix Carbon separately and use them with a barrier in between as some find carbon's lifespan to be shorter than Phosguard, but I am happy with this mix and would recommend to others. I use many SeaChem products and trust this brand.
