Review on Stylish and Functional 4 Piece Versailles Canister Set with Fresh Seal Covers by Tracy Erickson

Whilst these canisters are very pretty and nice to look at, airtight etc I would recommend them but with a serious warning! I have them on a shelf in a very small kitchen with a few cabinets. So I put in a piece of cardboard and a large square of Styrofoam to put in a closet or under a rug to keep them from sliding off the shelf. However, when I returned I was horrified to see that the canisters COLORED the foam mat to keep them in place! So far I haven't seen ANY orange coloring seep into my flour or sugar but to be honest these cans are going away and I'll be ordering new ones that won't stain what they sit on and I have little certainty they will leach out. color my flour and sugar!
