Review on Zerostart 3100040 Engine Block Heater: Ford, Lincoln, Mercury. CSA Approved, 120V, 600W by Marco Carpenter

Installed on a 2002 Ford Expedition 5.4 4x4. Installation was easy and painless, especially if you do it while flushing the cooling system. This heater was installed about a year and a half ago and there were no leaks (installed July 2018). It warms up the car well when the temperature drops. The engine starts easily and cleaning the windows from snow and ice becomes much less tiring. ECT monitoring shows a temperature rise of around 20-25 degrees Fahrenheit within 30 minutes of connection. The only small issue is that a longer cable would be more ideal. I simply connected a short length of outdoor extension cord and then taped it to the heater's power cord. The product has been working flawlessly since installation.
