Review on GigaTent 1 Person Cot, 5'10" Tall, Lightweight & Green by Jim Velasco

Poor quality best in my review

I purchased one of these cots about 2 years ago to provide a comfortable place for my grandson to sleep when he came to visit. I loved it.it was sturdy and had straps at each end of the cot to secure the legs, guaranteeing that they would not collapse when someone was on the cot. I bought another for my granddaughter and was extremely disappointed. The frame is not as strong, only small, thin metal bars supposedly lock at each corner of the cot when it is open. There are no straps to secure the legs to guarantee they won't collapse (they have) so now I have to use gear ties to make sure the legs will not collapse. The other issue is that the fabric smelled very strongly of chemical and took days of airing out to minimize. What a disappointment compared with the first cot I bought.

Pros
  • Open dimensions: 72″l x 25″w x 14″h
Cons
  • Time-Consuming Setup: Setting up the cot requires quite a bit of time and effort, making it inconvenient for those looking for a quick and easy way to set up their sleeping arrangements
