Bought for my 4 year old German Shepherd who has allergy issues. It caused such severe vomiting and diarrhea that I had to take her to the vet (which cost me $500). I figured it might be because she has a sensitive stomach at times, so thought I'd give away the rest of my Pyrenees mix, which has a pretty cast-iron stomach. nope He also had explosive diarrhea. I later read that avocado (one of the main ingredients in this dog food) contains a chemical called persin, which is toxic to dogs and can cause vomiting and diarrhea. Why make dog food with ingredients known to be dangerous to dogs?
