
This unit appears to be a clone of the MAX17043. The original chip operates at address 0x36 while this chip operates at address 0x32. It doesn't show a voltage reading unless you pull up a quick start and then read it after 500ms. The battery percentage is always above 100%. I compared the result with a real MAX17043 IC as shown below.
