I think if you're not expecting too much this would be a nice little addition to a room or as a night light. The end cap rotates (manually) to create a variety of patterns. Something like a kaleidoscope. It's nice enough, but after a few twists the cap on mine fell off and wouldn't close (there's a rubber grommet holding the cap to the base) so it's just a starlight pattern now, which is fine, though the cap no longer stays on. It's cheaply made in China, plugs into a USB-A port, and can be bent into any position you like. I think it's a little overpriced for what you get.
