Review on Creker Printer Filament Holder Bearing by Eric Wohlman

I have NOT used my 5th Gen MAKERBOT REPLICATOR for several years because it had a lemon design from the start. It was my first 3D printer so I didn't know any better and prior to this model the Makerbot was a solid system. I had a feeling this style of spool holder would work well, and it did. Bottom line, this holder provides the right filament tension for the right feed, which is all it takes for the REPLICATOR to finally work properly after MAKERBOT fixes the "Smart Extruder". The bottom line is that this spool engine saves the work of the expensive Smart Extruder+ and makes it possible to use it. I mounted the spool holder just above the extruder in a wire shelving system that holds both the spool and the MakerBot. Thank you for a well made product.
