I've had a 50A circuit breaker in my house for 8 years, I bought it like this and about 2 years ago I started having problems. I am by no means an electrician and figured I would have to upgrade the electrical panel to fix this problem. Which is still the plan, looked for a 100 amp lock and found this 70 amp was the largest I could fit. Installation was easy, no issues with turning the switch off even with 4 window air conditioners, dryer and microwave running at the same time.
