My Israeli family celebrated my birthday by giving me a new computer. At first, it seemed like the left one was louder than the right, but after giving it some time to settle in, I realized that it was actually playing a tune. I tried to be as careful as possible with them, and it's great that they came through the trip unscathed. The assembly is a bit complicated, though, so you have to be careful when putting them back together. On October 15th, a month and a half later, the right one was 8% quieter than it had been before (it didn't jitter as much, that is, it didn't drop it lightly). Once I realized that the left and right channels on the Ritmix RH-508 I'd bought in June were switched, I put them aside. I was reminded of the presence of a volume balance in December of 2022. I hung it such that 24% of it was to the left and 32% was to the right, and it turned out fine. On the other hand, when I revisited the video on April 13, I found that the sound had been turned up to 40%, and extremely loud music had been added to the film. The right one began to perform less well as a direct result, and the balance was of little use. I believe that the problem is with the wire (it could burn out), the membranes of the right speaker, or the wire itself from the case; however, the precise location of the problem is unknown. I've been waiting around for my money to come in so I can fix it. And the sound is simply unmatched; I thoroughly enjoyed it and found it to be uplifting. Recognizing that nothing lasts forever is a bummer; here's crossing our fingers that the fixes hold.
