I've ignored some of the reviews about these cutting tools. I'm glad I have them as they have good sharp blades but there is a bit of a learning curve. If you're using a thinner HTV like Sisser Easyweed, or in my case Expressions patterned vinyl HTV (which is designed to cut like Easyweed), this blade will cut through the backing sheet and cut into your carpet. I was able to get around this by changing the Cricut material settings to regular vinyl and setting the pressure to the lowest pressure setting and everything then works great. However, when using HTV glitter or other thicker materials, this blade works very well at normal settings.
