Ordered these because I change blades every time I cut reflective vinyl or heavy objects. They are cheap but lasted longer than expected in both my US MH-871 cutter and Cricut Maker.

They will not work as well as Cricut brand blades. The same setup with the Cricut blade works fine, but not with these blades. If you get them, you'll have to play around with the settings. If I make this file out of thick cardboard with lots of pressure AND double cut these blades cut cleanly. So test before you upload your project! I suspect the knife shaft is too short.

They were good for big vinyl projects, but for something small and complex they made weeding a nightmare. They left children at all sharp corners. So the image was never completely cut out, so I had to go very slowly and carefully when sifting through the vinyl not to damage any of the images I wanted to keep as all the corners were still attached to the film to rest. made of vinyl. The price is high but they don't work perfectly with Cricut Maker. You're cutting too deep into the self-adhesive vinyl, making it a nightmare to remove the backing. I changed the setting to a lower pressure but it still cuts too deep. They work well with cardboard, but I use an older mat because even with less pressure, it still cuts too deep into my mat. I've ignored some of the reviews about these cutting tools. I'm glad I have them as they have good sharp blades but there is a bit of a learning curve. If you're using a thinner HTV like Sisser Easyweed, or in my case Expressions patterned vinyl HTV (which is designed to cut like Easyweed), this blade will cut through the backing sheet and cut into your carpet. I was able to get around this by changing the Cricut material settings to regular vinyl and setting the pressure to the lowest pressure

This is awful. Sure they cut, but they make very deep, jagged cuts on every line! I make a lot of custom stickers, labels, and postcards so I always try to use washi for stickers and light cardstock for my postcards. With standard Cricut blades, they cut perfectly clean, sharp lines every time. NEVER adjust the pressure on THESE blades!
