I use 1080Ti graphics cards for power supply, no problems so far. I have an HP Z420 workstation in which I have a 1080Ti GPU installed. My factory PSU only has 2 6-pin PCI-E connectors, while my 1080Ti has a pair of 8-pin connectors. I've used this to connect and everything seems to be working fine. My PSU is 600W so I have enough power and my card runs from 190 to 250W. It should pull 75W through the PCI-E 16x point and the rest through my 6 pins. If I have any problems I will change my rating but so far I am very satisfied.
