Review on Boraam 24-Inch Sonoma Bar Stool, Storm Grey Wire-Brush Finish by Gregory Castellanos

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Stain scratches off with just a fingernail.

Bought these stools because I loved the style and color but the finish scratches easily and reveals a very white wood underneath. It will not last long before we have to sand and refinish it. This stool was just put together today. One star for the poor quality "wire-brushed" stain but I gave an extra star because they are attractive. I would like to know what kind of solid hardwood this is because that was another reason why I purchased these. I will keep them because if they are in fact hardwood they can be salvaged.

Pros
  • The stool's adjustable leg levelers enable you to balance it on uneven surfaces and prevent wobbling or rocking
Cons
  • The stool is not very ergonomically designed
