First I bought my first coconut house with my first bird, Commidus, but he didn't even want to be near him - he was rescued (from a tree) from cats as he was quite traumatized and alienated and basically just sat on the top perch ignoring everyone. When we had our second bird, Yuliya, she introduced Commid to the joys of playing with toys (which, despite the many options, he never made at all) and loved Coconut House so much that he fell in love with him in turn, and they loudly discussed, whose turn it is. They liked the first Coconut House so much that I bought a second one and they started figuring out which one belonged to whom :) The new one was a bit bigger than the first one so Julia (the bigger bird) thought it was their house. Unfortunately, Julia recently passed away and Commid has gone through a very quiet period of mourning. He barely moved and didn't touch the coconut houses or the toys he and Julia loved so much. Luckily he has become happier again in the last 2 weeks and sings, twitters, mumbles and plays with his toys and especially the coconut house.
