The knife has a decent collet to hold the blade. I've owned dozens of craft knives in my life and this is the most innovative idea I've ever seen. This gives the blade much more support and rigidity without the blade twisting. Too bad they made a source out of garbage. The blade wasn't tight so I twisted it to tighten it and felt it snap. The little black dress in the photo is the feather. Or rather, part of the spring that's broken. Now he will not hold the blade. I suspect the same thing happened to the other reviewer. I've never broken anything so quickly. I have things that break, but don't break immediately. It sucks. I don't even think I'll be returning it. I don't want to risk it being fixed and sent to someone else.
