Review on ๐Ÿงบ Dreft Stain Remover, 22 fl oz (Pack of 2) by Andrew Rourk

I can't believe how well this works

My children wear school uniforms (khakis and polos) and come home every day with oily black stains on their clothes from recycled tire pieces that be used as a base in their playground. Also, they have the usual baby stains: food, paint, dirt, etc. I've never used a stain remover but thought it would be cheaper than continuing to throw away clothes. It came in the mail yesterday and as luck would have it (haha!) my daughter came home in khakis completely covered in black spots so I had to check it out right away. I followed the instructions on the back of the bottle and worked through all of the week's uniforms (to give some stains time to settle). After one wash, about 90% of the stains were gone. I touched up a few stains and washed everything again and these khakis, which I would have otherwise thrown away, came out completely spotless when I took them out of the washing machine. There was also a white shirt that was covered in paint in art class last week and also completely faded. The only stains that didn't come out were what appeared to be a marker stain and a patch of grass; To be honest they may have been washed and installed before so I can't say for sure it wouldn't work on them. I didn't notice it anywhere in the description, but this product has a slight odor, a bit like baby powder. It also leaves a soapy residue on anything you spray it on, and clothes require extra rinsing to get clean. save us the constant moving. Having used about two-thirds of the bottle in one batch, I think I'll buy this one from Target now since it's a lot cheaper on their website.

Pros
  • The detergent's unique formula gently cleans children's clothes
Cons
  • No effect
