I use them at work when I work with another employee so we can communicate without having to call each other on the phone. So far I've been able to walk almost half a mile in sight, but if there's a hill or building in the way, 100 yards is enough. They're clear and loud and work great. I use it almost every day, 5 days a week and charge it maybe 1-2 times a week, but the battery isn't dead yet. They are not actively used at work, but used here and there. I don't really like that there is no beep or click when you press the button to confirm without saying anything, but still worth every penny.
