Review on Hyperkin Controller Adapter Classic Super Nintendo by Dan Unruh

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Garbage :( best in Wii

I ordered two of these for a friend. Yes, his SNES Classic is the official model, it was relatively new and had the original power supply. The controllers that came with it had issues. The one on the left Mario Kart player (Player 1) did not register the pinball (L & R) presses most or all of the time In Starfox, your ship had to bank almost all of the time With or without the controller extension cable, there was an issue. I put the Hyperkin adapter (only one of them) on the right side and used the original (used) Super Famicom controller. It seemed to work. But one day I got two original SNES control panels (tested on the Super Retro Trio Retrobit and they worked fine for original games on SNES cartridges) and suddenly there was a problem. The controls stopped working at best. Up and down on the C controllers, the main functions were pits that no longer work. In other cases, other buttons are not registered. failed! Instead of wasting your time with this crappy product, I recommend the Wii/Wii U Mayflash "NES Classic" Controller Adapter. Believe it or not, although this product isn't advertised for the SNES Classic, it actually works and does what it's supposed to do Purpose A must have Hyperkin product Use this instead if you want to use the original SNES controllers on the SNES Classic (and it has other features for the price)!
