Hyperkin Controller Adapter Classic Super Nintendo Review

I used this to customize my original SNES controller for use in Mario Maker for Wii-U. Just plug in the SNES controller, plug the other end into the Wiimote and you're done. As an avid retro gamer and twitch streamer, I highly recommend this adapter. A+

Perfect for my original Snes Controller from the 90s. Easy to connect and function with Nintendo Wii. It syncs fast and you can also use it on your computer to play 2D platform games. I love how compact it is with a thin cable instead of a long one. All in all I am not satisfied with my order.

What did I not like? It immediately occurs to me that my controllers do not work with the SNES Classic. Now they WILL work with the NES Classic, which according to Hyperkin (whom I contacted) shouldn't. I tried exchanging the broken adapters for new ones, but the only option I had was a refund, and I didn't want that. Now I realize I should have gone this route, but hey, learn from my mistake.

I had the exact same experience as the previous reviewer. I bought a hori pad on ebay and then this adapter. All in all, I wasted my time and money copying and pasting. Bought one of these to use with my SNES Classic Edition. The buttons are wrong and do not work properly. When using a real Nintendo SNES Pad, the Joystick, LR, Start and Select work as expected. I ordered two of these for a friend. Yes, his SNES Classic is the official model, it was relatively new and had the original power supply. The controllers that came with it had issues.
