Hard to use cover

First I did a test run with this cover to see how shooting with it works. I also closed it without the Camera in it, and dipped it in a bucket of water. there is no leak. It is very difficult to use ie. Not much better to position the camera properly in the pocket and line it up with the finger/button access pockets. The Instructions are awful. The little graphical pictures they give you help a little but not much.I have a Pentax K-70 with an 18x135mm auto focus lens and to use this cap I have to have the lens all the way extend to fit in the lens barrel. If the lens is not extended is, the edge of the body will appear in the photos. I understand that the lens cap part needs to be long to accommodate different size lenses. Also, the three knobs used to tighten the watertight clasp require a lot of fiddling to align for a proper closure. In June I will do a snorkel test and then give more information about it. The K-70 is a well-constructed camera and lens system that's weatherproof, so a little water or moisture won't affect it. I've used two other types of housings like this on small point and shoot cameras and they fit and work well. .

Pros
  • Body dimensions: 7.48" x 3.07" x 6.89" (L x W x H). Maximum lens length: 5.51" (suitable for 4.33-5.91 " long lenses). Maximum lens diameter: 3.94. In.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
