Review on ๐Ÿšด Osprey Katari 7 Men's Bike Hydration Backpack: Top-Rated Cycling Essential for Men by Mark Gilbert

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect for a night out (if you're a packer like me)!

Background: I usually pack everything I need for a day trip (laying hens, first aid kit, etc.) and I also hate big, bulky bags with extra space that I want to fill. (My "big" bag for long day trips is an Osprey Raptor 14, which I love.) But for a short day hike or a walk in the park with the dog, I've constantly struggled to balance large bags for stuff I do can carry. Don't leave the house without bags that seem superfluous. This is the perfect sweet spot. What makes this little bag stand out is the distribution of the pockets. The large main pocket is big enough for my small first aid kit (about 4 inches thick), some awkwardly shaped dog toys, or even a wrinkled jacket (compared to a similarly sized old Viper 9 that split capacity that way became). that a bulky item does not fit anywhere). A pair of small mesh sleeves inside are big enough to keep small items from rolling down, and a hidden pocket on top is great for valuables I don't need on a hike. (wallet, keys) and the side pockets are what I wish Osprey would add back to all their small backpacks for accessibility. All this versatility in a tiny package means I can carry whatever I need, and I'm noticing not even it. Bag on my back I literally never write reviews but this is such a unique bag design that fits me perfectly in this niche. I hope my review encourages others to try it and Osprey to keep making bags like these!
