After carefully removing the previous screen from my Surface Pro 5, troubleshooting the battery, and reconnecting the original screen, I found that despite my best efforts, the screen was cracked and not working. These screens are thin. I received this replacement screen 5 days after ordering, plugged it in after moving the touchscreen processor and it worked. The only downside I noticed is light spots at the bottom of the screen when viewing monochrome screens. It's not noticeable when using the screen, only when turning it off and on. I was happy that this screen comes with double sided tape to replace the original and keep the screen in place perfectly. I would like to point out that you will need to use your old display's touchscreen processing board and connection cables, so be sure to keep these in good condition when removing the old screen. Surface Pro requires patience and a steady hand. I would buy from this company again very happy with the screen and the speed at which it got here. 5 days from China is pretty good and everything works.
