Review on 🌬️ Efficient Cooling with the Haier Window Air Conditioner - 6,200 BTU, White by James Gibson

The hype is real, it's super quiet and cools well, and that's worth its weight in gold. The compressor baffle and muffling on the compressor mounts, separate motors for the condenser and evaporator coils, and the use of a cylindrical fan all contribute to the low noise level. Installation is the same as for a conventional window element. My only complaint is that the baffle that separates the two halves of the system and acts as a vent is made out of regular styrofoam, which in my experience attracts mold very easily. Time will tell how long this lasts.
