This product is great for multiple pots. However, I have found that filling the pot to more than 2/3 will result in the pasta overflowing. That was my real test for this detachable filter. It works with multiple sizes, however. If you're using it on a pan with pot sides, you'll need to attach it with clips next to those pot sections. As you can see from the last photo, you can see that this tension is very uncomfortable. The Revereware pots were no problem at all. The largest pot pictured was a standard 4 liter capacity which contained 1 box of pasta with plenty of water. There was no overflow with 1 box. 2 boxes of pasta didn't drain all the water easily. It washed perfectly in the dishwasher and came out perfectly clean with no oil residue. This is also stored in a smaller kitchen drawer. General. I would buy this again. I bought 2 packs. Now I'm posting 1 with my boys to their new college apartment.
