Every fall my fingers and (especially) my thumbs peel and crack. This can go on for months despite my attempts to heal or protect her. Since this year was particularly difficult, I decided to try these fingertips. Two sizes included; large and medium. The medium sized gloves fit my fingers well except for my pinky while the large gloves fit my thumbs. My hands are arguably normal size in every way, so these sizes are well chosen. I didn't really expect them to stay on my fingers and/or thumbs without tape, but they stay in place no matter what I do, and a lot of what I do requires the use of my hands. The sensitivity of these gloves is slightly less than the ones I have with my bare hands, but still sufficient for any work other than cell phone repair. Of course I don't see fine detail even with a regular cellphone, so sensitivity isn't an issue. I like the "stickiness" of these paper gloves; Flipping through books and flipping notes, which gave me problems with "dry fingers". Some reviews have stated that these gloves stretch after a few uses but I didn't find that to be the case - I've been using the same set for a month now and they still fit just as well. I did NOT crop them at the top like some reviewers suggest to make them more comfortable. They are very tight and I can definitely say I wear them, but even if I use them all day I don't find them so uncomfortable that I have to take them off. They do NOT allow your fingers to "breathe" very well, so I don't wear them at night, which I thought I might do before I bought them. When I first bought them, I bought some O'Keeffe's Working Hand Cream and applied it to my fingertips before putting on the gloves. Because of this, the tips of the gloves were a bit slippery, so I had to be careful when deciding whether to use cream or not. Even with the cream, the gloves didn't come off. I used the cream quite a bit and after a couple of weeks my fingers were completely healed! I use gloves when doing something special with my hands and sometimes I cream my gloves. Even when I'm wearing gloves, I put lotion on my whole hand, even over the gloves, and my hands have never felt better. Thanks to these finger gloves, my fingers no longer hurt or bleed in the first winter since I can remember. There has been no change in my diet or conventional medication, so I attribute the improvement in protection these gloves offer to that. I understand they sell sizes individually on their website if you want a small size or just a large or medium size. The benefits of wearing these finger gloves far outweigh any possible downsides and if your fingers are cracked and bleeding you will appreciate the protection these things offer. I cannot recommend them highly enough and no I am not affiliated with the makers of this product nor am I paid for a positive review or given a free product - I just LOVE this product and will be using it for as long as I can have fingers and toes. Highly recommended!
