I bought the DS-C03 because I need a display port and HDMI connections. I've found built in card readers to fail and then just take up space. This model works fine on Windows, although you'll need to make sure you connect to Host 2's port, as Host 1 doesn't seem to support all functionality with a single USB-C cable. Everything else has been working great lately 6 days. I like the small tower style as it takes up less space on my desk and looks tidy. Please note that some laptops require more power than this can handle so you may need one power supply for your laptop and one for the device if you wish to power other devices through it.
