After buying two other tablets, one of which failed before and the other was returned, this is the tablet case that I should have bought first. You insert the tablet into the frame and it is held securely. Unlike the cases that have a crease under the flap, this case allows you to use your tablet from edge to edge without protruding beyond the screen. The outer shell hangs sufficiently over the plastic frame on all sides, especially in the corners where a fall can do the most damage to the device. The cover is not smooth and I bought the blue one so people would think it was real sewn denim. I use my tablet in landscape mode most of the time and the pads are sufficient to keep the tablet in place. These are not small indentations, but actual mating material sewn to the inside of the cover. The description mentions something about a closing valve which isn't there, but the magnets are strong enough to keep the lid closed. The tablet display is controlled by opening and closing the lid. One of the most important things for me is access to the fingerprint sensor. In this case, unlike some other cases, you can touch the sensor lightly. Not sure why I didn't, but Fintie's case is the first time since I bought her before, but it won't happen again, I'll put Fintie in the search box from now on.
