Fantastic fun color! This item was even better than I expected! I would suggest this to anyone practicing the art of felting!

I know others have complained about this item, but I think it's MORE useful than the plastic mat things. Those don't even last one project, then, into the landfill goes MORE plastic, something that should end.The mat is filled with a heavy compression of felt itself, I believe. The surface does pick up some of the wool you're using, but it's very small, and came out easily.It's a good size. I wouldn't want to use a smaller one, but I'd still use even the smaller one over the plastic ones.And…

I do crochet and this way no knots or trying magic joins, using needles to sew join. It does sort of grab hold of the yarn but that's okay.plus cute.

This worked well on my first ever needle felting project. I can't speak to how long it will last, etc. but it certainly worked as described.

I do like the wool buddy, I was using a sponge pad and it is thicker. But the wool buddy doesn’t make my wrists hurt. The felting still sticks to the mat. It is a good product for your felting needs. The company was very swift in getting my order to me and I appreciate that.

I've been using this mat for about a month now and am liking it very much! It's a significant improvement over the cheap foam that came with a kit. I hope it lasts!

I just started felting last year and have been using a block of foam. This is so much better, the project doesn't felt to this mat nearly as badly as it does to the foam. The lime color is easy on the eyes, and it's one of my favorite felting purchases.

This mat is much better than the other items that I have tried. I prefer to use this over anything else. I would like to see one in a larger size for bigger projects. My only complaint is that it should be reinforced in the middle where the main working surface is as mine is developing a well in the center.

Excellent product. I like the vibrant color, lime green. Also, I was able to use it for my drizzle stitch embroidery stitch which works much better when you anchor your needle in a wool mat below the piece you are embroidering.

Love love love my woolbuddy. Just the right size to hold in my lap for needle felting. I highly recommend it. I have another the same size and then a larger one. They are great. So much nicer than the black foam pads.

So much better than I though. I’m new to needle felting but I apsolutly hates the foam mat I got with a kit I bought. I love this pillow! Great size and I can needle felt on my lap and not stab myself.

Very nice felting surface. Because it is made of wool, when felting on it your work wants to felt onto the surface. So there is some transfer of your fiber onto the Woolbuddy and some if it's fibers to become part of whatever you are working on. You have to pull your work from the Woolbuddy because that's how felting works. All in all, it is a very good felting surface. But next I will try burlap bag filled with rice.

I am very happy I bought this. it works great and no little black foam specks to contend with. Just remember to move your project around frequently while felting (eliminates project piece from being felted to the Woolbuddy) and to clean the wool pad between changing colors of wool. The pad cleans easily with a sweater comb or even better with a sweater stone (from Dritz). I usually will flip the pad over when I change colors and then clean the pad sides when finished.The biggest problem I had…
