I bought these lamps to hang on the mantel so the end without the battery can be thrown over the chimney's edge onto the floor. I didn't even have to put batteries in to see clearly that they appear to look like a regular Christmas string of lights with the lights spaced 6 to 7 inches apart, with a leaf on them from the photos posted here on Revain. It looks like they have two strings that are probably twisted around each other to make them look fuller. I mean the price is cheap so I think you shouldn't expect anything less than a cheap quality product with very few leaves, only one per bulb. It would be different if the lights were about 3" apart and each bulb had a leaf 3" apart, this would give the impression that there are more lights and more leaves on the garland rather than more gaps between them. leaves in the light. I think if you want to make it really unique you need to go to your local flower shop and buy some fall stems and wrap these lights around some of the vines that way, but I don't recommend this product because it just doesn't have enough leaves or have lights
