Pure quality just what you would expect from this manufacturer. I was expecting it to be heavier than it was but it was light due to the aluminum which was nice. Folds down to a small size so you can pack the bag and take it with you on the road. When unfolded, it reveals a hidden USB-C cable used to connect to your iPad Pro. Once plugged in, all expansion ports worked as expected. Except for the USB-C port on the hub, which is for charging only and not for external SSD drives, which disappointed me. I wish the USB-C port was for charging as well as transferring/powering on external drives. You need to connect your drives to the hub's USB-A port. HDMI, card slots and headphone jacks work and detect devices as expected. Another downside is that this stand can only be used in landscape mode if you want to connect a hub as the cable isn't long enough. Perhaps they could provide a male-to-male USB-C extension cable so you could place it upside down on the stand and connect a hub to it for portrait mode use. Attractive, high-quality workmanship, light weight, small footprint and additional ports you need. .Some glasses removed because it only works in landscape mode with a hub, the USB-C port is for charging only. (at least compatible with Power Delivery). I think they could cram into a different USB A port. I always look forward to Satechi products with an executive look to complement your workspace and this product will not disappoint.
