Review on Enhance Battery Performance with Tecmate Optimate Cable by John Brouillard

This cable adapts an old TecMate battery cable with a KET connector to a new OptiMate charger with a SAE waterproof connector. Actually I wanted to do the opposite, use the new kind of battery pigtails with the old OptiMate 3. I ended up having to cut, splice and solder the OptiMate cable. After all that it connected, but it turned out that the OptiMate 3 was no longer working properly, so I bought a new OptiMate 6 anyway. If you have a newer OptiMate and older battery pigtails, well, yes, you *could* do it buy adapter cable. Or just buy a new braid for just a dollar more. So madam. This is a solution looking for a problem. Only worth buying if you have a new OptiMate and *MANY* bikes with old KET battery cables but only need to charge one at a time.
