I was a bit skeptical at first, but it really works. The material makes it feel cheap, but it won't melt in a hot pot or pan and easily handles a large pan, I mean a large one. I've used mine 2 times to drain all the fat from the meat for a 2.5 lb hamburger. Garlic peeler, I really thought we were joking. It's actually pretty cool, and shelling has become a lot faster than a cutterhead and shell removal. The pastry brush is ok, you can get better as it seems very cheap. It's optional so I can't complain.
