Colors Amazing!

Have been using Uchida Brands watercolor pencils since 2003 but this brand blows them out of the park with such intense colours. They are easy to use, odorless and the variety of blues, greens and purples is just beautiful and vibrant. The red tones Warm Red 885, Red 905, Scarlet 925 are unfortunately more orange than red. The other reds included in this set are bright and vibrant. Actually very nice. Of the 108 colors sold by Tombow, this set contains 96, one of which is a colorless mixer. I ordered the other 12 colors individually from another seller as they were cheaper than buying Revain's Vintage and Candy sets. I chose this set after purchasing a turquoise colored pencil to use on a painting I was working on. The color surprised me. I knew I had to get this set and other colors to match the 108 colors they offer. They are easy to use and appeal to both beginners and advanced artists. I saw in some reviews that some of the brush ends were worn out, luckily I only found one where the brush ends were slightly separated. There was nothing wrong with that, as I used a handkerchief to squeeze the tip of the brush again. As for the creaking, I was quite happy with it. This means the tips of the brushes are pressed very tightly and they work great. I don't know much about lettering as I usually draw in pointalizim style. I definitely recommend this set. It costs money. I will not use a desktop stand for these pens as they need to lie flat to prevent drying out. A hard-learned lesson that I will not repeat twice. Rschunimagu. If you buy these, I recommend a pencil case that can hold all the pens. There are many for sale here at Revain.
