I've always liked this wattage setting for 3-way lightbulbs, but with CFLs (I haven't found that wattage for them yet) I can't find them any more. The 30 watt bulb is perfect to keep on for the dog, some light for the walk home, or theater lighting for watching movies. 70 watts is great for just hanging out and not blinding your friends. If you want to read or search a pen you just bought, turn it on to 100 watts.
