I have twins 12 months old and I realized that as they learned to climb, open doors etc it was becoming increasingly difficult, impractical and expensive to buy various child safety gates and gates for EVERYTHING in our rental I just put this together today and I'm already loving it! Pros: It came a week earlier than planned. It's durable but has piping padding which is great for accidental drops (they've already started chewing on the top edge so I'm glad it's padded). Everything works and looks as it should. My 4 and 6 year olds can hop on and off by themselves. It's big enough for my two twins to have a place to run and play. In addition, my four children and I were very compatible at times. It comes with a storage bag which I like to use when we move house or go on a long trip and want to take it with us. Cons: Other reviews here say that assembly was like assembling a tent. I have to say it's a bit more complicated but still doable on your own. I cut my hands a bit on the pipes while assembling them, but those parts are all covered so I'm not worried about my kids cutting themselves. Difficult assembly is the only reason I gave it one star. I suppose disassembling will be another challenge, so I won't do it unless we're relocating or going on a long, worthwhile trip. I wish it came with a matching mat but I can easily measure and get it separately. Overall good quality and size for the price. I will recommend it and would definitely buy it again.
