While the jack works, the spring pin system is rubbish. I've already had 2 failed pins and to make matters worse, Bully Dog refuses to answer emails or take calls. I have to pay out of pocket to get the replacement parts which will cost $75. They must be covered by the warranty. They replaced my nib the first time under warranty but gave me no response on the main cover or the second broken nib. I'd say avoid it and get something more reliable than that. ALSO it's not designed for the 4000 trailer in any way, more like a 1500
