USB power supply issue. Essentially DOA Strange issue with ATT router

EDIT: I'm having trouble disabling USB devices on this board. Trust me when I say I tried all possible troubleshooting methods to fix this. I ended up ordering the X570. And now, with all the same details, it works absolutely flawlessly. I'm pretty sure my problem was just an accident, but I can't recommend this board more because of that. I wanted to comment on a strange subject. I noticed that the board doesn't work over ethernet and the WiFi works fine. I've tried everything I can do in terms of drivers and operating system. Eventually I found out it had something to do with the ATT Pace modem router. As soon as I plugged the cable into the switch and not directly into the router, I have full speed ethernet. Very strange. Not sure if ATT or Asus is to blame, but the board is great. You may only need an ethernet switch if you have the same router as me. I hope this helps someone.

Pros
  • Make sure your BIOS is up to date when installing a compatible Ryzen 5000 series processor. Visit the ASUS website to search for the motherboard model name , click the Support tab, select Drivers and Tools, and then "BIOS and Firmware" to download the latest BIOS.
