I have a portable sewing machine, but I don't use it all the time. I didn't have a case for it and it collects dust. This is a really good case. Fits my car. Dimensions: 13" x 17.5" x 17". It folds away when I'm not using it. There's a large front pocket where I keep patterns and two side pockets that come in handy for scissors and other sewing tools The cover is waterproof Oxford cloth, one of the pockets is see-through.
