Review on Efficient Connectivity: Linksys N300 Wi-Fi Wireless Router (E900) by Andrew Walton

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Nice router, some glitches

If this setup is the "simplest" of most routers, I don't even want to think about what it takes to go through more complicated routers to wake up. & To run. Linksys tech support is amazingly unhelpful (although you can expect them to insist on selling extended service plans if you're trying to troubleshoot connectivity issues), and the only reason it got 3 stars is the low price Consider the "You get what you pay for" element. My ISP (Comcast) did a great job of helping us connect to the router, although it's not their product. It ends up working fine, with the caveat that it shuts down every two weeks and requires a reboot, which isn't a big deal. The bottom line is that this is a cheap, feature-rich wireless router that won't break the bank and looks neat with a slim, low, unobtrusive profile.

Pros
  • Normal price
Cons
  • Basically okay, but...
